Great Walk 2008: Dedicated to the memory of Alan Scherr, #71
(September 30, 1943 - June 7, 2008)
On behalf of Alan's wife (Barbara), daughter (Jennifer) and son (Jared) and the other family members
participating in the walk, we would like to thank you and the members of the Lions Club, along with the
communities of Gold River and Tahsis for your compassion and support during this difficult time.
We would also like to pass along our appreciation to fellow participants, volunteers and support people,
staff at the medical clinic, RCMP, Rangers,and owners of the Gold River Chalet.
There are numerous people who came to Alan's aid, unfortunately we do not know their names,
but we are extremely grateful. Marilyn (?) stayed with Alan's daughter Jennifer until we could join her
and for that we are thankful.
